Description

We modeled key crop phenological stages to better understand temporal and spatial shifts in New Zealand for three dominant cultivars (Merlot, Pinot noir, and Sauvignon blanc). Maps show the change in date for mid and end-century for three phenological stages (flowering, véraison, and sugar ripeness). Maps are computed for 4 Representative Concentration Pathways, e.g. 2.6, 4.5, 6.0, 8.5. Maps show the magnitude of changes depends on the combination of greenhouse gas emission pathway, grape cultivar, and region.
